Teagasc are carrying out a series of sustainable agriculture webinars to promote and examine sustainability in the Irish agriculture industry. In one of these webinars, which was recorded on Thursday 1st April, Mark Gibson, Teagasc ConnectEd is joined by UCD guest speakers – Dr. Helen Sheridan (Lecturer in Farm Landscape Ecology and Agri-environmental Policy) and Prof. Tommy Boland (Professor of Ruminant Nutrition), to discuss multi-species swards – sward and animal performance under reduced nitrogen fertiliser inputs.
